Pull up and take a seat, and enjoy the dulcet tones of Seth and Zach as they go through and reminisce about fond memories of playing old video games. The podcast is broken up into three segments:
Recently Played
The beginning of each podcast the brothers catch up with what they have been recently playing, and discuss each of the games. These games could be newer releases or ancient games, depending on their moods.
The Actual EpisodeEach week the bulk of the podcast is spent on a different topic and discussing either classic games or feedback from listeners. The brothers will talk about game developers, publishers, game series, consoles, and more.
This segment is in the middle and shorter than you would like for topics you want to hear about and longer about topics you could care less about. Why do we things like that? Nobody knows. Retro RewindSeth and Zach challenge each other to play games that are +10 years old and then the following episode report back if the game holds up today. Sometimes they give each other bad games, and sometimes they give each other really bad games, rarely they give each other something that is pretty good.
Retired/On Vacation Segments
Looking into the future the brothers look at games that are on the horizon and give a fast take on them, and whether or not they are going to buying the game as soon as it is available, waiting on it till it hits a sale, or passing it by.
Sometimes a game is really bad, the Brothers will speak from experience and talk about games they have played that has gotten negative reviews and decide if it is in fact "really that bad". |
